{Background}
Andrew was the youngest State Alchemist to be selected by the State Military of the country, having achieved the rank of Major at age twelve. His father's disappearance when Andrew was young, the death of his mother, and a failed human transmutation play pivotal roles in his background. At a young age Andrew lost his right arm to an accident while he was working in a mill trying to support his mother, using his Alchemical prowess he was able to attach a metal limb to his body that has full mobility. Andrew can effectivly manipulate his arm freely as made able once again through Alchemy. Alchemy has played such a important role in his life, he is virtually devoted to it, thus making him feel the need to teach it to other young minds.
